「六四集會案」20多名被告正面臨漫長的審訊過程，支聯會承擔多位被告的訴訟費用，當中包括8名支聯會常委及民主派人士，預計訟費高達50至100萬。支聯會主席李卓人及副主席何俊仁更因「八一八」及「十一」等遊行案正在服刑，十分需要市民捐款支持。
