Li is detained in the prison hospital in the eastern wing of Linyi City People's Hospital. Her family and friends are worried about Li Qiaochu's depression and health. Li was placed under “residential surveillance in a designated location” in Feb-Jun 2020. 2021年3月23日，當局以視像會議形式開庭宣判，#張五洲 兩罪罪名皆成立，共判刑2年半，刑期至2022年12月5日。法庭把張五洲的聲音關掉，外界無法知道她的發言。據她的兒子表示，他只聽到媽媽說：「你們判我2年6個月，我會一直要真相的。」張五洲自被拘留後多次受到酷刑，她因身體疼痛難忍，多次向看守所反映。去年12月25日至27日，她又被強制戴了3天手銬、腳鐐。她多次向看守所要求讓她去做核磁共振確診病情，但被拒絕。看守所僅提供止痛片。家人希望外界繼續關注張五洲一案。

On 23 March 2021, the court hosted a video conference to deliver #ZhangWuzhou’s verdict. She is found guilty for both offences and sentenced to 2.5 years imprisonment, till 5 December 2022. The court muted her voice and her son said he could only hear her saying, "you sentence me to 2 years 6 months, I will keep fighting for the truth." Zhang has suffered from torture repeatedly since her detention. During Christmas (25-27 December 2020), she was forced to wear shackles and handcuffs again. She reported to the authorities of the physical pain she could hardly bear and asked for a nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to get a clearer diagnosis. Instead of providing her medical treatment, the authorities only gave her some painkillers. Zhang’s family hopes that the public would continue to follow the case and speak out for her.

He was later detained again on 9 February at his home, where firefighters first broke down the door and plainclothes police broke into his home and took him again. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Lü needed to wear cotton coat, with three heavy woven clothes inside, and two warm pants and hat. But he still complained that he felt cold. He had applied for release on medical parole but was repeatedly rejected. It is worrying if he can endure the remaining jail terms. On 7 July 2014, Lü Gengsong was taken away by over 20 state security police officers stationing outside his home in Hangzhou. His home was raided. His mobile phones and computers were confiscated. On 17 June 2016, nine months after the trial, Lü Gengsong was convicted of “subverting state power” and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment and deprivation of political rights for five years. His jail term is expected to end on 11 May 2025.
