If the #IOC refuses to see reason, there is also the option of organizing an alternative winter games in a more liberal society. Plenty of democracies have the necessary facilities.

In October 2020, I met with the #IOC as part of a delegation that represented 160+ NGOs. We were given the same response as Olympic officials earlier gave to justify the Nazi Games: “politics and sport should be kept apart.”
