民主派初選47人案本月27日續審，英國上星期六（18日）多處都有海外港人集會或遊行聲援同路人。其中在曼城，有港人與烏克蘭人合辦遊行，呼籲外界持續關注及抵抗中俄兩大「新邪惡軸心」，在天雨下約有250人參與，市中心交通一度受影響。有主力為烏克蘭抵抗力量籌款、伴侶為港人的前英國消防隊長表示，雖然短期內難以動搖中俄極權，但認為只要堅持必將見曙光；在遊行隊伍前方一名左跑右爬的年輕港人拿着相機「實習」，矢志在英國完成學業後回港投身新聞界。

2024年3月23日，曼城反23條集會，超過300位香港人於下午3時冒雨在Manchester St. Peter's Square集會 。參加者不但自備標語道具，更有義工向圍觀的本地人解釋23條立法後對香港的影響。
集會後更有香港人向參加者分享感受，寄語香港人繼續揸起中指（宗旨），無懼港共政權，在能力範圍內為自由發聲。
