職工盟主席吳敏兒自2021年2月28日起被關柙，至今未判先囚至超過兩年。🇺🇳 聯合國經濟、社會及文化權利委員會副主席Michael Windfuhr 在二月審議香港人權狀況時，特別提到她的個案，質疑當局任意拒絕她的保釋申請。
Carol Ng, former Chairperson of the HKCTU has been remanded in custody for over 2 years, since 28 February 2021. Her case was highlighted by Michael Windfuhr, the vice-chair of the 🇺🇳 UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, during the committee’s latest review on Hong Kong in Feburary.

由亞洲金融風暴、沙士、碼頭工潮、雨傘運動，至2019年反修例運動，伴隨著社會經歷的風風雨雨，每年五一勞動節，香港人都走上街頭爭取勞工權益。但在港區國安法下，打工仔連和平集會的機會也被剝奪。
和平集會是基本人權。

Workers in Hong Kong are denied the right to organise a Labour Day rally.
The right to peaceful assembly is a fundamental human right.

當悼念六四集會在中國及香港被禁，堅持逾三十年的支聯會亦被定性為非法組織，支聯會主席副主席三人至今仍然在囚，我們身在海外，更要肩負將燭光延續下去的使命，令拒絕遺忘的聲音，傳遍世界不同角落。今年六四，一如以往，團體「六四燭火」會於倫敦中國大使館外舉辦燭光集會，在此呼籲大家前來參加。
