「六四集會案」20多名被告正面臨漫長的審訊過程，支聯會承擔多位被告的訴訟費用，當中包括8名支聯會常委及民主派人士，預計訟費高達50至100萬。支聯會主席李卓人及副主席何俊仁更因「八一八」及「十一」等遊行案正在服刑，十分需要市民捐款支持。

After the June 4 candlelight vigil in 2020, various standing committee members of the Alliance and democrats were charged with ‘holding an unauthorised assembly’, ‘inciting any other person to take part in an unauthorised assembly’ and ‘knowingly takes part in such unauthorised assembly’ and other crimes.

The Alliance standing committee members who are defendants in the ‘June 4 assembly’ case include:
