【《乌鲁木齐中路》放映会加场！】
在四月份举办USC和UCI场次后，我们应邀来到UCLA，和大赦国际UCLA共同举办南加第三场《乌鲁木齐中路》放映会。
时间：5/29日星期三晚6-9点；地点：Franz Hall 1178，UCLA。
片长1小时17分钟，片后有讨论会，我们也会一起为白纸政治犯写声援明信片。
本次放映会无需报名，准时入场即可。
我们为每位现场观众准备了免费纪念品，疫情口述历史项目「无声者言」(unmaskedchinaoralhistory.com)的周边明信片。
现场有记录白纸社群建设的华语独立杂志《莽莽》第二期贩售，感兴趣的朋友请带现金。

当我们脚下都变成乌鲁木齐中路——全球联合放映实录
自2022年底到2024年初，一条涌动的暗流逐渐形成。乌鲁木齐发生火灾，因防疫中的权力当道而导致令人心痛的死难；上海民众涌上乌鲁木齐中路聚集悼念，而后陷入被抓捕和镇压；回溯和重述这一切的《乌鲁木齐中路》纪录片诞生，然导演很快受制于司法、身陷囹圄。在过去的一小段时间里，全球的行动社群开启了一场联合放映，让纪录片投上大大小小的荧幕，让一场场围绕历史记忆、暴政之痛、族群间共鸣的讨论蔓延开来。
We did it! We painted a pro-democracy mural in Downtown LA!
On the left, a Hong Konger designer has drawn the future state of Hong Kong, with the constant surveillance and lack of freedom; on the right, a Chinese designer has depicted breaking through censorship to rediscover Tank Man. We would like to thank our Hong Konger artist Zoul ([email protected]) who directed the painting process, as well as other Hong Kong community friends who helped us greatly. We would also like to thank Santee Public Gallery (IG@santeepublicgallery) for providing the space to make this happen.
Our painting event brought together students, intellectuals, recent asylum seekers who crossed the Darién Gap on foot to travel to the U.S., and Hong Kongers. We all had a great time together working on the murals, listening to rock music, eating snacks and hanging out. The gallery owner, having heard that we are painting Tank Man and pro-democracy murals, was also very encouraging to us. We’ve painted our first mural, but definitely not our last. We hope to see everyone at the next one!

左边是香港社群朋友设计的图案，画的是未来香港的监控和侵犯自由；右边是中国社群朋友设计的图案，打破屏蔽与监控，重新发现坦克人。非常感谢香港艺术家Zoul ([email protected]) 带我们完成这个壁画，感谢香港其他社群朋友的帮助，也感谢场地方Santee Public Gallery (IG@santeepublicgallery) 给我们提供了涂鸦墙。
涂鸦活动有留学生，有知识分子，有刚刚走线来到美国的朋友，也有香港朋友，大家背景很不同，但是在一起聊天合作都很开心。大家听摇滚，吃零食，聊天，七手八脚就画完啦。场地方知道我们画坦克人，画争取民主的内容，也非常鼓励我们。我们完成了第一场涂鸦，但肯定不会是最后一场，也希望可以在下一场见到大家！
