倫敦警察廳（Metropolitan Police）在內閣大臣作出決定前公開承認，中國擬在倫敦舊皇家鑄幣廠興建「超級大使館」無法安全容納超過500人的示威，若發生成千上萬人參與的大規模抗議活動，將需要調動更多警力應對。IPAC高級分析員鄺頌晴接受《追新聞》訪問時表示，由於塔村市議會就中國超級大使館規劃諮詢已完結，不會再重啟諮詢程序，但對於倫敦警察廳提交的報告會有一定影響力，「因為佢哋其實之前已轉咗兩次軚，又話2,000人、又話1,200人，兩個評論都唔準確，對於Angela Rayner（副首相兼地方發展、房屋及社區大臣韋雅蘭）考慮是否批准超級大使館興建有一定影響。」

扶老携幼 3000 人倫敦遊行反中國超級大使館
為反對中國於倫敦皇家鑄幣廠舊址建超級大使館，港人團體今日第三度到鑄幣廠舊址聚集，舉行抗議活動，並沿著上址遊行一圈。據主辦單位Nottingham Stands With Hong Kong估計，今日有約三千人參加遊行。
今天的遊行原定沿著倫敦塔橋循環遊行，惟主辦單位指，警方一直同意該遊行路線，但至今早突然改口，只准遊行隊伍圍著鑄幣廠舊址繞圈行，並引用《公共秩序法》向遊行人士施加限制，規定遊行人士必須遵從警方的命令。現場所見，遊行沿路都有警方嚴密佈防，以防有人走出馬路，在塔橋入口更駐重兵。
抗議活動在大約下午二時開始，首一小時為集會，隨後由鼓手及現任英國Wokingham 地區議會議員、前香港區議員吳兆康帶領開始遊行。
