Hong Kong’s health is challenged by the severe shortage of doctors. Just from the first chart alone, one may easily conclude that we need to increase the number of doctors as fast as we can.
根據香港醫學會2018年3月12日回應財政預算案嘅公開信，每1000個公營醫療嘅病人，只係分到0.9個醫生。但係私營醫生對病人比例就係4.5:1000。而全港專科醫生當中，有45%喺公立醫院服務，照顧足全港近九成嘅住院病人，其餘約55%專科醫生係私人執業，服務全港一成嘅病人。
According to the Hong Kong Medical Association, the doctors to patients ratio between the public and private sector are 0.9:1000 and 4.5:1000 respectively. About 45% of all Specialists are working in public hospitals, serving nearly 90% of inpatients, while the remaining 55% are private Specialists who take care of roughly 10% inpatients.
根據香港醫學會會董佘達明所指，公立醫院急症室、兒科、內科及老人科一直都係壓力重點，但係以上科目嘅前線醫生數量在過去10年無點多到。
While it is crucial to get more doctors to the city, the resource allocation between public and private sectors may be an even more important concern.

2019年抗爭期間，網民以反修例前線示威者的造型，創作了「香港民主女神」（民女）的9個設計圖，在8月份進行網上投票及眾籌，最終以現時的形象製成高4.5米、重80公斤的大型雕像，並在香港中文大學等不同學院、不同抗爭現場、包括日本「香港の不自由展」等不同展覽等等展出，團隊甚至將民女帶上獅子山，為香港人打氣。
這個戴着頭盔、眼罩、豬嘴，手持「光復香港，時代革命」旗幟的「前線絲」，一推出便成為反送中抗爭的重要藝術作品，80公斤重的初版雖然在獅子山上被破壞，但更多不同的複製版、藝術二創、相關產品亦隨之誕生。
